This dress is everything! The sequins are so beautiful and the amount of color in the reflect is stunning. I am impressed with how stretchy and comfortable the fabric is. I was nervous about having a scratched up arm or shoulders from the sequins on the straps, but I felt fine after a 3 hour event.
My measurements are 44-35-48 and both the XL and the L fit.
Shoutout to Vixen’s customer service team as well! I accidentally received an XL originally, but customer service immediately sent out a L even before I had returned the incorrect size. If you’re thinking about this dress, don’t hesitate! Bite the bullet and do it!

A wonderful dress! Very form fitting and perfect for a night out! It hugs my body and emphasizes all the right places. I need more events where I have a reason to wear this wonderful glamourous dress! The color is amazing and a wonderful deep wine color! I got so many wonderful compliments wearing it and felt like a vintage vixen goddess, which I guess is the whole point of the dress!

I love this dress! The color is a true burgundy, with hints of red in certain lighting. Absolutely gorgeous - I am usually between a L and XL in Vixen sizing. For this dress, I sized down to an L for a close fit in the bust and waist, and I am happy with this choice.

Nowhere near as red-looking as shown in photos. It's a very dark brownish burgundy. I'm getting frustrated with the colors on the website being oversaturated and made warmer. It's not helpful when trying to see a real color. Natural lighting would help, but this is mostly an issue in editing.
The new fit is mostly only tighter under the arms. I'm frustrated with bodices from this brand lately having very short straps that suck a dress right up into my armpits. Otherwise, I have medium measurements and still very comfortably fit into an XS.
For the most part it's a pretty dress, but I wanted a Jessica Rabbit red, as the brand suggested it would be. It is not.
