For reference, My measurements are roughly 38" around the bust, 30" around the waist and 40" around the hips. I ordered a size medium and the fit is lovely - not skin tight, but not loose - it's fitted without being overly tight in the tummy area and is constructed with a very flattering body curve, so no weird bunching around the waist.
I was expecting a thicker material, more like a knitted sweater cotton, but this is more of a thick t-shirt cotton. The only thing that isn't quite ideal is that the facing (the bits on the inside of the neckline) is not sewn down, so if you have a slim upper chest/shoulder area, you might experience some issue with the facing trying to pop out. I plan to remedy this by adding a couple extra stitches to hold it in place while I move around.
Very beautiful design though and a flattering fit! I bought my Mom one in Burgundy too and I think she'll love the sexy but not too in-your-face style of it.

I bought this top in L. It fits pretty well. It is a nice versatile style and comfortable fabric. My only complaint is the fabric lining around the collar flips out and looks awkward. I might try double sided tape to keep it in place.

The fit and quality are amazing. The weight and stretch of the material is terrific. Really high quality. I went with a 3x because I don't tend to like my tops overly tight. I could have easily fit in a 2x. The fabric was perfect for keeping me warm in a Chicago winter. I highly recommend this.

XS is a perfect tight fit, though my arms are a little constrained in it. Other than that this black top is perfection—one of my “go-to”s for casual and work appropriate attire. Love it and need more in other colors!

The knit fabric isn’t flimsy or too t-shirt-y. It’s a good weight and good quality. The collar does stand on its own or can lay flat if you like it styled that way better. The length is my favorite thing about this style top. I’m 5’2 and rather short waisted and it falls almost mid-hip which is perfect to cover a slight tummy bulge but is not to long that is looks odd if I decide to wear it untucked. When worn tucked in it stays in place reasonably well. I love it and will be purchasing other colors.

This shirt is SO CUTE!!! And so sexy vintage. I got it in black so it matches everything in my closet. It's a great match with swing skirts and especially pencil skirts. The material is extremely sturdy and thick but not overheating. And that collar, LOVE! I've got a 38 inch waist (on a good day, that puts me in a size 14/16 U.S. measurement), bust is about 47/49 inches (size 40dd bra, U.S. size)...I bought a size 3x and its perfect, just the right amount of tight. Haven't worn it to warrant washing so if it tightens that shouldn't be a problem as it should go back to normal after a few hours of wear I would think. Nonetheless, I am definetely looking to get another/different color.

This is my favorite shirt. I also have it in chartreuse and dark green. It's soft, stretchy, comfortable, and work appropriate. What more could you want?? It's plenty long enough to wear untucked or with modern cut bottoms, but it looks great with high waisted bottoms too.

My 15-year-old daughter got this in black to supplement her vintage clothing collection. It's truly classic in style, but in a modern fabric that's a bit easier to care for than the 60-year-old cashmere gems we have to keep the moths away from. We were pleasantly surprised at the heft of the knit, as we worried it might simply be a glorified tee. It is not. It's a real, lightweight but sturdy cotton sweater material that's as soft as cashmere. Another pleasant surprise has been how well this stuff has worn for a young high schooler person who, while hourglass, is petite and willowy. This would work on a much more va-voom figure, but is very flattering, grownup and figure enhancing for a teen without being too revealing. A lovely staple piece. Can't wait to see more in patterns and sailor styles.

I Love these tops and have them in two other colours so pulled the label off straight away. Unfortunately, the neck line has been cut wrong on the black one and doesn't sit right around the chest . Gutted. Will cost loads to return from the Uk too. Best top ever though if you don't get a faulty one.

The style has such a great vintage flair but still can blend with everyday clothes: jeans, skirts, etc.
The fit was spectacular; sizing online can be wildly inaccurate but this fit as if it was tailored for my figure!
The quality is wonderful as well, it’s very sturdy and stretchy, but not too loose or too restricting.
Also, I was emailed the day the top arrived to ensure it had arrived, I consider this above and beyond good customer service!
Now I’m counting the days until I can order this in red.

Originally ordered the white in a medium based off measurements but does stretch so ordered black and light pink in small. 28" waist and the medium doesn't fit badly i just prefer a tighter fit. Maybe could've even done an extra small but haven't washed them yet either so haven't accounted for any shrinkage washing and drying may do. Definitely recommend.

This top is so comfy and even on a hot day it feels cool. I bought a large. My waist is a 32 and this was perfect I still have room in it. I love the V plunge too. I'm not one for a collar but this is definitely one I don't mind. Thank you for this lovely top. I hope it comes in many more colors.

I turned 60 & want to be healthy & fit. I've been working out plus eating healthier so I've gotten rid of 34 pounds. I'm hoping to get a lot smaller so I bought the Large! It fit like a glove but it didn't pull or look to tight. I plan on buying another one in a different color & in large too! I wore it & it didn't creep up on me throughout the day I like that it stayed down and in place. Some tight fitting shirts ride up while wearing. I washed it in cold laid to dry & tried on today & it fits the same. Very happy with the shirt!

Love this top! Super comfy very stretchy. The top runs tts and it seems I needed a small, I ordered a medium I'm 38-28-40 and this was a little big in the bust especially with all the stretch. I want more colors. I'd suggest sizing down if you are between sizes .

I absolutely love this top! I can wear it for work but I can also wear it out. It's super comfortable and looks very classy and put together. I love this top! I purchased mine in a 2x and it stetches in all the right places! Sometimes I am concerned about a top being too short or not fitting around the arms, but this top is the perfect length! It stretches where to need to and stays snug were it doesn't!
When I'm dressing up, I pair it with a high waisted skirt and have even paired it with black palazzo pants for the office.

I love this top! It is stretchy and very comfortable. The cut is tasteful enough for work. I really need to order it in more colors. It's safe to size down if you are in between sizes. I will continue to order M, but if I wanted more cleavage/tighter fit I would order a S.
