A true gem from our Tropical Terror collection, this hauntingly beautiful new vintage inspired swing dress is the perfect addition to your wardrobe! Featuring artwork by designer Micheline Pitt, which was inspired from vintage 1940's and 1950's mermaid novelty prints. Following the lore of sea sirens who would bring men to their watery graves, this murky water is filled with human bones, sea creatures and more! The removable bolero comes with the dress and is lined in a soft and pretty stretch burgundy charmeuse. The bodice is fully lined and the front is fused to give your ladies proper support. The gathers at the bust mirror the skirt gathers, which are less than our standard gathered skirts so that you can see the print more easily. The dress is finished with a back zip, adjustable straps, and SUPER deep pockets big enough for your smartphone and more!

This is my second Vixen dress, and I am so in love with everything about it. I am an avid collector of all things mermaid, so of course I had to have this dress! The print is so unique and fun, and the contrast of the red and purple is even more gorgeous in person. Above all, this dress is wonderfully constructed down to the smallest details. I love the red lining on the matching bolero too! I ordered the small, and the fit is just the right amount of snug and support (35-inch bust, 27.5-inch waist).

I sized down because I've learnt to ignore the Vixen size chart. When I did this with another dress, the waist was in the right place (previously I'd ignored the size chart and ordered dresses in an S and they'd all been far too long in the torso and big in the bust, even though the size charts suggested I should go with a M). The torso in this was a tight squeeze in an XS (which is now my go-to size for tops & dresses from Vixen), but I think it will give with wear, but even after sizing down, in this dress the waist was still too long even after adjusting the straps, however the bust fit great. I found the bolero seems to fit well after sizing down twice, too

Love the style of this dress so much! The straps don’t dig and I can wear without a bra!!!! I don’t like the bolero on me-too top heavy. Pairs perfect with a cropped cardigan! Please more prints in this design

You can’t see all the gorgeous details of this print until you see it in person. If you love mermaids ‍♀️ like I do then it is a must have. This is a well constructed garment. Can’t wait to wear it on a future cruise.

We both got so many compliments, including from the characters at Disneyland. This is one of those dresses where you can’t spend five minutes without somebody walking up and telling you how much they love this dress.

So, this i never thought much of until I took a chance. I love it. I didnt realise the pics were kinda creepy. With these, i do hate the boleros, they just arent fittted which is how i like my cardis. I am wearing a 3xl which is perfect on my 16K/38K/380 bust but big in the waist as always. 5.1 and love how they come long on me.
