Unfortunately I had to return this skirt. Have a 28" waist, 36" hips and a small fit perfect to about mid thigh. But at 5'2", the skirt extended almost down to my ankles where it just flopped around looking silly. If they wanted to make a short version for us petite ladies (hint hint), I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Replaced my original black Vixen pencil skirt, after 6 years of wear.. Great quality! My current measurements are waist 39 1/2 inches and hips 52 inches. I got my usual size 3X, and took in the waist band as needed.

The skirt is really well made, like every vixen piece I ever got my hands on. I like that this pencil skirt is less sexy aka figure hugging and more formal classic. It is perfect to have options and this version and the la femme version of a black pencil skirt give me just that.
The only thing that bothers me is that the skirt rides up on me and that it is not really sitting on my hips. But I love him either way.

Waist 30 Hip 48 in. Overall fits wondeful my hip to waist ratio has always been a problem when it comes to bottoms. The skirt fits great a little lose in waist but I was expecting that!

The material of the pencil skirt is well made. I usually wear between a size small and medium. I bought a medium based on the measurements. The measurements were not accurate because the material doesn’t have room to play with. Unfortunately the material was very tight, it felt like if I sat down I might rip my skirt. I wish it had a little more stretch to the material. I couldn’t return it because I had already taken my tags off. Even though the fit was not right I do love they way the skirt looks I just wish it fit better!

I wish I could say I love this skirt, but I just don’t. I bought both the S and M. Neither really worked out for me. The small is quite tight though the hips and wrinkles up throughout the day. The medium is too big in waist. Sadly it seems I’m somewhere between a small and medium in most of her clothes :(

If my waist to hip ratio were less (waist is 27.5”, hips are 41”), and if I were shorter with shorter legs, this skirt would be perfect. Alas, it is not meant for me. However, the La Femme lined pencil skirt works for me perfectly, so I will definitely get one of those in black very soon.

This is my second Vixen pencil skirt. The construction is fantastic. The fit is very form-hugging and flattering. The waistband wrinkles/puckers somewhat, but I think it's something that's only noticeable to me. This is a staple piece in my wardrobe that will never go out of style.

Wonderful skirt. Hits at the perfect spots on waist (high) and leg...just belowthe knee, which is great because most of my pencil skirts hit just above the knee but i prefer a tad bit longer like this skirt is to fully cover the knee. Runs very true to size and has no stretch so order by the measurement guide on this one...maybe even a size up if you run on the larger size of all the measurements (waist and hip) I fit the medium measurement for waist (28") but my hips are 42" and by that measurement should've ordered large. This skirt just barely zips due to my hips and I do have a bigger butt so if this is also like your shape do not stray too far from the hip measurement sizing because i almost wished i sized up just for a more comfortable fit. But all in all i still adore this skirt.

This is the perfect pencil skirt. I constantly have problems with skirts that fit well at the waist and hips - AND are the correct length. This skirt has all of that! The lining gives it a heft that makes me feel like everything is snug and secure - but not too heavy that I'm sweating in it.

Ordered a size 3X (my normal size for pencil skirts), and my current measurements are 38 1/2" in the waist and 51" in the hips. I'm 5' & 6 1/2" tall, and worn at my natural waist line, the bottom reaches about 2" below the knee cap. Fits beautifully, and has a black charmeuse lining that feels amazing! Ordered on Feb. 13th. Shipped out on the 20th, and delivered Feb. 23rd.
