To start, thank you customer service! I originally purchased this dress when it first dropped on pre-order during Black Friday along with another dress. I didn’t mind waiting for the latter…until an unexpected event dropped in my lap and I realized the other dress would be a good idea to wear. I requested the order be cancelled with the intent to purchase this dress later. Cancellation processed immediately and I got the other dress just in time. Cut to this month when I was ready to buy this one, and I noticed that all the larges were gone! Bummed, I was ready to wait for them to restock until something told me to check the fabric. When checking, I realized that the fabric was close, not exact, but close! To the vacation pants I just got and got away with a size medium due to the comfortable stretch those pants give me. I put in another email to customer service asking if they could confirm the possibility of a similar stretch based on the close material. Same day response came in saying that yes! I could get a fair stretch. Not a ton, but the dress could give a decent amnt based on my measurements I provided. I took my chances and purchased the medium. Now for the dress. O.M.G. The weight. The skirt. The wide neckline. THE STRETCH. IT WORKED! For reference, my measurements are 36, 31, & 45. Aside from the pants, my dress orders for vixen have been larges and them being perfect for me. But this one in medium was the gold star! I have every intention of wearing this with witchy knee high boots and thigh high wool socks with a garter belt with no fears of being cold because it feels so decadently thick on my skin. I am beyond in love. What really sells it is the fact that the medium rests flat against my small chest with no extra fabric wrinkles which was another thing I suddenly worried about when I was getting ready to repurchase. But nope! And to confirm just how much stretch this has while the bust securely holds me, I am literally in that time where my waist is capable of stretching 3 more inches without my consent but the dress was not constricting me in an uncomfortable way. Gorgeous, gorgeous dress! The silhouette is perfect, and the dress is warm enough to wear in New England during the winter! I received constant compliments while wearing this dress. I took away one star because the neckline, while beautiful, is cut a little too wide. It exposed my bra straps and slipped off my shoulders, so I was fiddling with it while I was wearing it. Still, totally worth it, and I will definitely buy this dress in more colors!

Worth the wait- perfect fit, love the pockets , comfortable and stylish. This is going to be a work staple with different colored tights. The fabric quality is really amazing. Thank you Vixen for another comfortable and stylish vintage inspired dress!

The Troublemaker is a well made and versatile piece made of thick, stretchy fabric- I have it in 3 colors I love it so much. I’m pretty busty, so the waist band is a bit high on me (just under my bust) which is the only critique I have of the fit. I travel a lot for work, so it’s important for me to have pieces that can transition between warm and cold climates and this piece has taken me from 80 degrees in California to 30 degrees in New York- the material travels EXTREMELY well (not a wrinkle after being stiffen in a suitcase) and is classic enough to be dressed up for a more formal event.

This dress just blew me away! I knew it was going to be glorious and when I first seen it I was perfectly happy but then I tried it on! Wow what else can I say! It fits like a dream, I was scared it would be a bit tight as I sized on the smaller side of things but nope its perfect. It feels like I am wearing a snuggly, supportive cloud. If I could wear it every day I would! 12/10 would buy again. ♥

This is an excellent and very high quality made dress. Long elegant sleeves and a vintage style sturdy metal zipper make this a perfect retro reproduction. Unfortunately for me with my larger bust and longer torso waist came up too high on me. I'm going to exchange it for the Sweeheart swing dress which falls at my natural waist and has adjustable straps.. That doesn't change the fact is this is an incredibly well made garment and a beautiful beautiful design.

Love this dress, it's extremely comfortable and just glorious to wear. Excellent for toddler chasing and I couldn't believe how much fit in the pockets without even being able to tell they were full! I'm 5" nothing and it came to just below my knees, I love the length. Nice and fitted in the top, perfect dress!

I bought this dress a few months ago, but this is the first day I have actually worn it and oh. My. Word. This dress is magic. After I initially received it, I tried it on and while it technically fit on my body, it was really tight in the arms and just didn't work. I hung it in my closet to be addressed in the future whether it would stay or go. I decided to try again today and while I did have to shimmy the sleeves up a bit, now that I've been wearing the dress 9 hours, I wish I didn't have to take it off. Ever. It's so comfy, while being super flattering. I was between XL/2X when I ordered it, so I would probably recommend sizing up if you aren't planning on losing weight in the future. I'm sure if I had gone with the 2X initially I wouldn't have had the fit issue I did.

This dress is made from absolutely brilliant materials. The dress is luxurious yet casual and super warm in winter (and I bet it would work brilliantly in summer too)! Fabulously comfortable, can't wait to get some more colours Totally head over heels for this design!! Worth every cent (and more).
